Is there a private group for radio competitions on here?

Just wondered how you all felt about entering competitions on certain sites. For example, would you enter on Mumzone if you are a guy or on Dads Space if you are a girl? Would you enter one on a gay site if you were straight? Would you enter one on Jewish Times if you are a Muslim? Would you enter one on a teen mag site if you were the wrong side of 40? Assuming that there was nothing in the T & C's to stop you from entering. Just interested to see what others think.

For me that varies & it often depends on whether you have to register & whether the site specifically states certain ages etc. I wouldn't deliberately lie to enter a comp but I enter maturetimes, jewishchronicle, dads space, one of the gay ones where you don't register because I don't think they specifically state .... I'm 28, no religion, female & hetrosexual.

As for the teenage aimed sites, I enter on ones that I have been registered with for a while like bliss. I'm not especially keen on registering on lots of new sites so I don't :D

Very similar to how catz has replied

Firstly i only enter for prizes that i would use or those that would be used by my family.

I am registered with many of the female sites (More, pickmeup etc) as the T&C's dont specify you have to be female to enter. I also am registered with some of the sites aimed at teens but dont enter comps if the T&C's state under a certain age. On the other end of the scale i do enter ones like mature times.

Guess i take it one on its own merit.

question: when people search for a competition, do they ignore any results that show it posted in the regular section. Why do people duplicate so many regular comps? are they invisible?

Its possibly because the Regular section is not visited by everyone as some find it quite daunting and posting on the main board acts as a prompt to those.

I myself have entered competitions posted on the main board only to find its in the regular thread at a later date, but that isn't a prob to me as i hardly every go in there.;)

The logical answer would be that they untick the box to search the child boards and therefore the only results shown are in Competitions time, rathen than in Comps time + I Won + Regular + Game Over ....... however, I reckon it's a lot to do with people not using the regular board and therefore posting in the main board regardless of whether a search result appears in regular board
  • I should like to shame two bingo sites! Harry's bingo and Gone Bingo! Both owned by overseas owners. Please beware that they offer free money and bonuses to join, but they have so many terms and conditions for paying money out. You'd need a financial expert to withdraw any money you might win. And beware also that the minimum withdrawal amount is £50 Having a balance of over £50 i assumed i could withdraw but NO. On complaining i was told i had not deposited enough money. I asked how much more i would have to deposit and got this reply. "deposit £10 and wager deposit, plus bonuses made on it. Plus the previous deposit of £20 two times on bingo, or 6 times on slots, since you have wins from your previous deposit" (work that out)? I argued vigourously and have since had recent deposits refunded but not winnings! And when i again complained in their chat rooms i was swiftly refused access to the site! Please beware folks! And keep complaining if you are treated the same. Google Chelbis in Cyprus and you'll find the owners of these disgraceful sites.
