Nationwide E Saver opening

Could anyone tell me how long it takes for a newly opened Nationwide E Saver account to actually show online?
It's a few years since I opened one and can't remember.
I went through the activation process early this morning, inputting £100 to transfer from my Flex Account but the new E Saver isn't showing up in the list of my accounts.

Last time I opened one, a few years back, it was overnight before it had appeared in my account list. But the opening transaction had gone through okay!0

I recently opened one and it showed up online within a few hours.0

Just wondering, if it's possible to tranfer from one Nationwide E Saver account to a second Nationwide E Saver? Or do I have to transfer from E Saver to Flex then to the other E Saver?0

You have to transfer in and out of Flex a/c to achieve this - you can only pay in or withdraw from a e-saver via Flexaccount.
I recently had the experience of Nationwide (for no apparant reaon they could come up with) deleting my Flex a/c from the online list and then refusing to talk to me about it because I didn't have a Flex a/c (despite having a substantial balance in the e-saver)! It took a week and the manager of my local branch and his IT specialist to sort it out - I had a fulsome apology but nobody could work out how it had happened.0 -

Crikey, I'd have been hopping mad.0 -

I stopped using Nationwide a long time ago because of this business of having to move money from the Flex account to the saver as I always found it took a couple of days. I felt it was a cynical way of them hanging on to the money longer and therefore reducing the interest rate. With the Co-op system, which most of my family use, transfers between internal accounts are instantaneous which they should be of course.0 -

Transfers between the flex account and e-saver are instantaneous and always have been in my experience. I have had an e-saver since they were first introduced.

This is my experience too. I've had an E Saver with them for years and never had a problem.
The E Saver I opened this morning is still not showing. So will check tomorrow to see if it's there.
It's got to show on my flex account where the £100 transfer went.0 -
I also agree with noh.
On salary day, I regularly transfer an amount from Flex to e-Savings, and then transfer back on the day I need it to pay bills - always been instantaneous in both directions - there's even a "quick transfer" menu to do it from the main screen after you've logged on, without having to go into specific accounts.0
