Wallop ring up the OR and have a chat with him. Obviously explain to him that you will have problems paying the rent and really need to keep a roof over your families head. Tell him the mix up with the EX160. You never know.

As for OR taking cars, it is not just the value of the car that is the deciding factor it is also the monthly upkeep that is needed in your SOA to un the car and if you are not working then you really have to provide a good case to keep it.

i am working full time and i need a car for that however it is the smallest cheapest car i could find 950 cc citroen

the family car is run by my wife needed simply because without it we cannot go anywhere as a family full stop because at the moment all 3 babies or small children cannot fit into the little car im 17 stone 6'4 lol
we rent about a mile from the school which is 3 trips per day, baby checks, doctors etc are 4 miles away and shopping is 4 miles other way.

i really didnt want to enrage the wrath of the or by disposing of the little car for a 100 quid or whatever if he has plans for it but it would really help at the moment and if we gonna lose it anyway what the hell!

nope mines £300 and they want that. i have to wait for the company to contact me to make them an offer.

it costs about £500 to take the car and £80 for scrap

I used to scrap cars for free under some environment recylcing scheme that I cant remember the name of. Agents fees are usually £250 to take and sell an asset

i dont mean thats what it costs to scrap i mean thats what i would get for scrapping it at a scrap yard my dad works as a scrapman.

and if it costs them £250 why bother taking my car then if its not worth more than that
