Help me Experts - Broadband/ Phone Packages.

My Bill for my home phone, tv and broadband is totalling £60 per month on Virgin Media. Supposed to be £40 but additional call charges are bringing it up. I hope someone can help with this because i can't afford to pay this amount anymore.

For some reason my virgin media tv box has stopped working for the past few weeks and i've realised that all the channels i watch are ALL on freeview.

I'm paying £18 a month on a lousy 2meg broadband, which on peak, virgin are throttling to almost dial up speeds.

So I was thinking about dropping the TV subscription, and changing back to a BT line rental( i think i'm still connected but even if i'm not i hear they are doing a deal at present?) and look for a deal on just the phone and broadband. Any ideas on a good package.

I'm a vigorous downloader/gamer so It has to be unlimited and i would like better speeds although i'm more into reliability than speed. I talk alot on the phone too.

Your best bet would be to switch to O2 broadband see here and to read this thread hear to save on calling costs.

thanks i'll check 02 out. I've read how to cut calling cost already it was facinating.

ps. I meant to change that link. I was told to remove live links from threads from another experinced forum member, said it slowed the thread down or something. I'll change it back then.
