Just received an email from Sainsburys this morning. They are offering a dozen red roses delivered on 14 February for £20 instead of £32 but it is for the first 100 orders placed today only.

Just had an email from ALDI saying they are selling red rose bouquets starting 9th Feb and they are £7.99.
  • I work at a florist and some of these prices seem very good, the best red roses are grand prix but will cost you about 3 quid a stem but hey sometimes one of those wrapped in cellophane with ribbon looks gorgeous, and remember ladies cut them diagonally with a sharp knife! another more modern idea for the modern men is a cut orchid, normally about 7 quid a stem sounds insanely priced but they are beautiful and you only want one! smell good too.
  • i always buy aldi flowers - they have always been good and last for ages

    Hi again everyone.

Can I ask what most people have decided to plump for Valentines flowers-wise. I am still mulling over which deal to take and have read all the useful posts but obviously have to make a decision VERY soon. As I said, I was wondering what others who have read these posts decided to go for.

    Many thanks.

    Also,

Has anyone used ValueFlora in the past and found that they have delivered buds? It states on their website that this could happen for maximum longevity.
