Evening all
Well yesterday spent quite some time at the hospital (see above - not much to report except that there is some improvement from October, but doesn;t look like it's going to get any better now apart from this "gradual" breakdown of scar tissue over the next 18-24 months.) So Numpty I'd better start sheduling some regular piano time from now on....after I've got my tax return in by friday this week
Yesterday I started a spending diary :j and forwarded the new rectfication quote to the surveyor. Also no word back from insurance company or loss adjusters re interim payment (apart from a holding letter requesting another 28 days to deal with my compalint) ....so a new letter will be going off to them on friday about the interim payment as that is urgent.
Also re-joined my local gym as despite the cost (£31pcm) , I really do need to get some exercise again (I stopped after injuring the hand and really am starting to miss it..and my face is now showing it's age.....)....also it will get me out of the house for a few hours (saving on heating, snacking, booze and smoking as I used to go 3-4 days per week)
And today.....I finally summoned up the courage to turn the water back on to the en suite Luckily no bursts :T- but one joint and one isolation valve have slow leaks  so I'm going to have to get a plumber in  . Still at least today I've lagged all the pipes properly. Tomorrow I'm getting insulation board (£30) to insulate that bit of roof space this weekend to ensure it doesn;t happen again....and save on the heating bills as I've had to have the heating on 24/7 to thaw/stop them freezing again in this cold weather.
Also the EDF electrician came today and confirmed that the builders had cut the cable to the electric meter hence none of my electric had been registering on the Economy 7 tariff (hence why my leccie bill was £600 this quarter  ) - luckily EDF have said that if he found a problem they will re-rate my bill based on usage over the next month or so (note: must turn off at mains to make sure no electric used....:rotfl: )
Well that's it for now - hope to have some good news tomorrow on the "income generating" efforts so fingers and paws here all crossed.
Hugs to all
