Just organised angel of mercy visit to (not entirely enthusiastic) parents on sunday to mow their lawns, finish boarding the loft (couldn;t do it properly last week as boards were wrong size.i.e. metric as opposed to imperial so wouldn;t nicely fit across the joists and needed to be cut to size.......now borrowed jig saw from exOH....watch out Wol's about with power tools....OMG!!  )...

    Plenty of PPE... ;)

:o:o:o Ahhh, well....yes...errrmmmm......funny you should say something like that Z......

Unfortunately my elderly neighbour came round for his weekly snog (and to ask me to go on a trip with him down to his caravan this weekend ;) )........while I was still in my dressing gown.. ......ooopps......at 11.30am

Luckily I saw him on his way round (I was MSE'ing on the 'puter in the study at the time) so managed to rush upstairs and shove some clothes on before I answered the door ;)

Good job - he would have thought his luck was in there... ;)

Bless him.....despite the impression I might give..I have great affection for him....he really is a lovely man.... he always makes the effort to come and see me to check up on how I am doing as he knows how tough it's been for me going it alone after the floods...it's really nice to know in this day and age that at least one of your nearest neighbours cares about your wellbeing....

Yes it is. Most people never see their neighbours for years on end.
