Wol, I'm so glad to hear your situation is looking up, but  to what the parents have done. Sensible of you to stick it in cash at the mo, but I hope you *do* get to have it.

Many thanks KC for your post - have to say I don;t think the "do" will happen ...but not particularly worried....."par for the course"....or perhaps "karma" :D:D

Just wish they would do things properly .......

Down your way after Easter......will Pm you to see if we can meet up....

Where has the sun gone - i set aside the whole of today for gardening, lawn mowing and letting the pigs outside in the run....

Instead it's been freezing cold and dull grey.....ho hum.

However I have booked in British Gas, the Alarm man and Sky to all visit on monday to sort out all the breakdowns/problems......and I have also closed 6 old storecard accounts (wasn't easy tracking down phone numbers etc).

Now I have to bite the bullet and tackle the lawns......still at least the grass is now dry..

Hee hee Numpty - need to fence each of them off to stop them fighting....especially that Beechy Boy - and tbh the boys will just be trying to cross over the lanes to get their leg over the girls...IYSWIM....:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hmmmmm.........maybe when you come down we can build a multi-channel run for them ;)
And yes - 6 store cards most not used since about 2002......I am trying to tidy up my credit file....;)

Lawns now done ...more of a hack than a mow :o (guineas can smell cut grass and are weeking like crazy....:D )

Just organised angel of mercy visit to (not entirely enthusiastic) parents on sunday to mow their lawns, finish boarding the loft (couldn;t do it properly last week as boards were wrong size.i.e. metric as opposed to imperial so wouldn;t nicely fit across the joists and needed to be cut to size.......now borrowed jig saw from exOH....watch out Wol's about with power tools....OMG!!  )...and take them my emergency clothes rails/shelves etc that I had to buy when I moved into rented accommodation.....at least then they have somewhere to put stuff.....

Right back into garden - need to do a bit of wedding stuff :p before the light goes....will leave emptying the compost bins (and facing the resident rats  ) for another day  ....i.e. when I've got the air rifle correctly sighted :D
