why is my laptop so slow...

i've removed programs that i dont use and ive reduced this a lot but still my laptop takes ages for webpages to appear?

can anyone guide me please? (I love that icon)

Can be many reasons

1) Low RAM (most common reason) - Your memory which stores running programs can be full if you have a low amount of memory, but have a lot of processes open at once. In windows vista for example, really 2GB of memory is recommended for smooth performance

2) old processor

3) PC not been formatted or defragged for a long period of time. Ok you've uninstalled programs, but the hard drive does need taking care of still once in a while!

4) Some malware/virus/added processes you don't know about. hijack this as user above suggested, will reveal those.

I'd guess you only have 512mb of RAM if things are running that slow!

Get rid of AVG. That'll speed things up no end. Also, the speed that webpages load is also dictated by the speed of your ISP.

I can't see anything in Hihack this, so I guess you'd just have to do a re-install

You have some RelevantKnowledge crud. Download Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php install, quick scan and remove everything it finds and post the log back here.
