LG Renoir or Samsung Pixon?
Hi guys,
Been looking round the internet to see which is the best phone but still do not have a clue.
I think it really boils down to which is more responsive and easier to use. I text a fair amount so I am looking at the phone which is easier to text with.
Anyone got any thoughts..or has anyone tried both?
If it helps I am moving from a Nokia N95 8GB.
Cheers :money:

I've tried both and the Samsung Pixon is by far better for typing and therefore texting than the LG Renoir. Although the Renoir looks a bit nicer. However, the renoir froze once, i don't know if it does often though! Best bet.. I know expensive (I want one too!) is the Iphone! But otherwise go for the Pixon!0

My suggestion would be LG Renoir, simply as it has WiFi, a must have feature as far as my usage is concern.
You can compare them (along with SE C905 and INNOV8) at this site:

Hope this helps.0 -
If you text lots, then a phone with just a virtual keyboard is possibly not the best way to go - despite being the fashion since the iPhone was released. From the reviews I've read, the Pixon is slightly more responsive than the Renoir.0

Thanks for your replies.
A workmate has got the Renoir so I tried it out this morning. I have also managed to test the Pixon at CPW store. I have to say the Pixon is more responsive and that the virtual keyboard on the screen is bigger as well on the Pixon. I think the Pixon has a slightly bigger screen.
Its definately gonna take a while getting used to it coming from a N95 but I am deffo going with the Pixon."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

I had the Pixon as an upgrade from o2 and have to say it s a pretty decent phone. As someone mentioned before it foes not have Wifi which is a bit of a shame but it does have other things like the music recognition which i thought was pretty cool.
I had the Pixon for 2 days before i sold it and got the HTC Touch HD and i have to say it beats anything ive had or seen hands down! its simply awesome.
If you got to choose between the Renoir or Pixon id say Pixon but if you've got a bit of cash then sell the Pixon (£280ish) add another £100 and get the HTC Touch0 -
