Hi Toots, ahhh, so you HAVE been on here - I was beginning to worry when I saw people looking for you...;)

How are you feeling? I know you were really tired at the beginning of the week, hope you are feeling more like your chipper self now... Have you done any of your EBaying? I know I haven't and my dining room table is full of stuff to go... I am determined to get organised by the weekend and do some starting Monday... hope you'll join me, and you too Dusty and Froddy if you've both not already done all yours...

Off to bed and sleep now... another late night but only coz I had to finish something first - off work tomorrow so will catch you all then...
    take care, Den x

    Morning, am i first up?
Been up half the night with LO, she is decidedly unwell. Hubby has taken the day off to look after her, going to ring the doctors to get them an appt.
Not sure how much flying i'll get done today as i'm just getting ready for uni and i'm working tonight:rolleyes:
Will at least try and S&S the kitchen and do some washing.
Have a lovely day ladies and gents.

  • Mornin' All

I think I will be gentle on myself today as it is first day back at work and I will probably be knackered tonight so a very little list for me

    Extra's

    1. list 5 items on ebay
    2. list 2 items on freecycle
    3. make dinner and clear up afterwards!!!! (always a problem for me as I tend to sit in a heap on the sofa after dinner)
    4. put towels in dryer and new load in wm
    5. make packed lunch so have a NSD

    That's it....

goodness - I must get going - still sat with first cup of tea and have to leave for work in 45 mins! Surprising how easily you forget time scales in the morning when not at work.

Morning all - thank goodness it's Friday!!! My nail (or finger where my nail was!!) is still stinging and looks horrid!

I've not done much this morning except get myself ready for work but I hope to be in early this evening and maybe go for an HHC or 2 so I don't have loads to do over the weekend.

Valli - I do the same with my work bag! I seem to just carry the same stuff backwards and forwards :o

Flower - I am going to do some ebaying this weekend - not done any yet though!

    Have a good day x

I have now persuaded the local authority they need to be looking at after scool care for secondary school age children.. so I don't have to have DS2 as a 'latch-key kid'.. in case he burns my hosue down .. AGAIN! lol .. I cannot cope with that level of cleaning!

It amazes me that there is childcare available after school and during school holidays for children up to age 11 - what are parents supposed to do with their children after that age

    So far today I've:-

    1. stripped our bed and put bedding in wm - only got one winter duvet set, so that needs to be dry for tonight.

    2. Changed DD1's bed

    3. Made packed lunches for both children

Need to change DS's bed, and DD2's bed, but she's still asleep.

I've decided to de-clutter our wm. We bought it in the last rental place because there were no 'white goods' provided - it turned out it was because they only intended renting it out for a year, and they didn't bother informing us of that. We don't want to be nomads, but some landlords don't seem to realise that - we're just objects to provide them with a short-term income . Anyway, I'm advertising it in the supermarket and that money (which was mine from my Gran when she died) will be going into my savings tin so I can put it towards a better sewing machine (which was my intention with that money all along).

I'm also going to sell the childrens' bikes. They never use them and they're just rusting away in the shed (with the leaky roof ). When I was younger I spent hours on my bike.

Is anyone watching Victorian Farm? Very good series and very OS :rotfl:
