  • Morning all - thank goodness it's Friday!!! My nail (or finger where my nail was!!) is still stinging and looks horrid!

I know that really hurts done myself before now. Have a thumb nail thats split halfway done and if came off would lead to a bloodbath so keep gluing it back down with nail glue.

I made a fool of myself walking back from local shop last night with DP and have a bruised big toe to prove it. Cos it was dark I didn't see samll gap between paving slabs and my heel got stuck in it but I carried on walking and left shoe behind. My god did it hurt!! Felt a fool as man walking by saw and started chuckling. Toes all red and hot all night and have woken up this morning with very bruised toe. Will look lovely in my wedding sandals next Saturday I'm sure!!

Teleconference over, and a few more bits and pieces put away. Off to shower/dress and possibly deal with some of the bathroom bits, then back to deal with my work list before my next teleconference!

Hello all. Have been working full time for the past two weeks. Only thing I've managed to keep up with is the washing! Was off sick for two days this week, too!
    Hope you're all better now...

Has anybody got any Christmas biccies or chocs left?
    a few choccy biccies...

Friday errand done in super quick time, came back and have cooked mince, carrots and onion for the bottom of two shepherd pies for the freezer which will be 2 meals for DS and DD and a huge pan of veggie chilli which will be portioned up and frozen for me - simmering nicely, it is! Some ironed washing from last night has been put away, WM x1 on line (towels) it's spotting with rain but they are blowing. WM x 2 nearly finished. All beds stripped and airing - so it's looking good in Valliland:D:D:D:DAm just off to get my bath.

Wow - that plane! All saved!

ETA - seems like Greenbee and I are having a HHB/S!:rotfl:

Have been awake since 4.30 when I got text from SIL 2B asking if we'd seen DP's twin brother as he went to shop at 6 last night and never came back!!!!! They are having problems, but him running away won't help. Anyway after lots of texting and ringing he had the audacity to stroll back in at 8.30 this morning saying he'd slept in the car and can't remember all the texts we got off him last night - how very convenient!!

So, even though up all that time before work, all I managed was to clean the bathroom, air bedroom, make bed, shower etc for work.

No dinner in the sc or anything. Going to butchers acroos the road from work in a minute to get some sausages so can call at home at lunch and do sausage casserole in sc.

Can't motivate myself at work as I'm dog tired and just want to put my head on desk and snooze - wouldn't be a good idea though as am estate agent and have HUGe windows where all passersby will be able to see me!!

AnW'sMum thanks, the sweatshirt arrived this morning, it's a tiny bit smaller than his school one but that is huge so should fit ok. Please do let me know how much I owe you, I know what the postage was but you've been naughty and picked the price off!!
g&b hope little one is feeling better soon

Awaiting issues with electricity bill being sorted, final bill meter reads state Nov 2008 32786 and Dec 26 338** can't remember the last bit, anyway meter is at under 32000 now! I am not paying for what I haven't even used yet so DD cancelled to previous company (as they wanted to take £130 for that on the 20th) complaints made etc.

Mini laptop fixer person supposed to be here at 10am **taps foot** I hate it when people are late (when it's an hour late!) Plus side is while I wait I have filled a bin of fling! Oh I put WM, DW on aswell, folded an airer of clean laundry, tidied up some kid junk, phoned OU to confirm courses, dealt with a stack of paperwork.....can't remember what else.

    Right back to flinging!
One day I might be more organised...........

I've put the dishwasher on - had a giggle as I've not bought dishwasher tablets since last summer when I kept buying them on BOGOF. I reckon ive still got another years worth too!

Carlsberggal - i've just got an image of walking past an estate agent and seeing you flaked out on your desk....nightmare though being worried all that time. Hope you sleep well today.

There's no challenge on my post because if you did the last one you should have your feet up right now. I'm just about to tuck into bacon and waffles! xx

    Wiped kitchen work tops.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh - the wii fit has arrived!!! I've been a bit mse with it. I bought the Wii fit with some birthday / christmas money. DS didn't know what he wanted for his birthday until he knew that was coming. So i've told him it's his birthday present and saved a bit of money - it's not like he's being hard done by. A lot of people gave him money this year and he has an atm money box....omg he's got £73 in it plus a £15 gift voucher!!!! He wants to put half in his 'can't touch it building society account' and the rest in his 'can touch it account'. Such a good boy!!! He knows that if it stays in his ATM i'll 'borrow' it :rotfl: .

Ok, off to find ten things to put away upstairs xx
