Another dumb question you'll've already checked: does it change more when you do have the heating on? It is reading your boiler?0

yes it goes faster when heating is on so im wondering if the pilot light is badly adjusted0

I have a new meter that seems to go round the numbers fast - in a month i have used a similar amount of units as i did in 6 months at old house (6 months inc last winter)
I made a thread here but i still wonder if the new meters do something differently - if not i used £170 gas in 1 month

maybe it is these new meters.Icontacted British Gas a couple of days ago and they weren't very helpful.it just seems strange that my usage has rocketed since the new meter was fitted. im not cooking more and i only use the heating for about 2hours in the evening0
