yep shown him that and he just ignores it.....
with paying £620 (and £50 that I throw in there myself) we're due to be debt free in 33 months.... but its just hard knowing that more could and should be done!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi hun
It must be so frustrating being the one doing everything, it puts my irritation with OH when he leaved his shoes where I will fall over them in the dark firmly into the shade.
I think I agree with Miss Piggy - until he has responsibility for his debts back in his own world again he just won't see the problem (it is sort of like he has a consolidation loan (in dodgyvoiceover voice - "just think all your debts taken care of in just one easy monthly payment") and we all know how well they work at helping us to get debtfree )£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

which is exactly why he has 2 bank loans that we're paying anyway!!!
And wanted to discuss last week getting a third! to consolidate everything!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
It sounds a bit like you're fighting a losing battle and if you keep doing this :wall: you'll make nuts.
I guess you have to sort of accept it whilst doing a subtle form of the DFW equivalent of japanese water torture and convert him drip by drip or debt by debt:rotfl:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

lol yeah seems that way eh?
Maybe I should just work on whats in my name (harsh as that sounds) and let him flounder around for a few more months till he finally finds out on his own....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I think he needs to have his own LBM
If it does happen quick enough the Paper hat crew will come around a shine high watt lamps in his eyes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

This is going to sound harsh but I would do that! If he isn't as committed to paying off the debts as you are, well let him have his cake and eat it, at least you would be shot of your debt and then be in a better position to help him?
and it would give you peace of mind? You are so up for paying them off get it done and go from there.
(and in my previous post when I said the one friend I had told, I meant the one friend I told about ME overpaying the debts and he thought I was mad, not your situation)Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
yeah i got that part of it LOL

maybe thats just what i need to do then, worry more about my debts, pay them off at an aclerated rate, and then when all my cash is my own he'll (hopefully) see the error of his ways....and then want my help!Wealth is not measured by currency0
