Much as I laughed, I am sure most of us have had a 'moment' when learning to cook when something has appeared a bit strange to us... mind you, personally I can't think of one :rotfl:
As someone else said, no such thing as a daft question... Chances are, if 'you' have thought of it, so has somebody else

my Ex was peeling some one day & called out to me that they were infested with hundreds of tiny octopus-like creatures :eek:
I didn't want to, but I went to have a look & it turned out he'd found some old potatoes that had got pushed to the back of the shelf & the 'octopii' in the sink were in fact half inch long sprouts that he'd knocked off while handling them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
