As we always say there is no such thing as a daft question on here .We have all had to learn and the only way you do is by asking. No worries love we have all done it.No one is born knowing evrything about cooking .I can remember my late husband showing me how to peel a mushroom back in 1962.My Mum had never used them as she didn't like them, so I had never tasted one let alone cooked one.My DD doesn't like bananas, and my DGS Danny has never eaten one in his life, and he is 20.His girlfriend thought this was a hoot0

see now, in 40-odd years of cooking, I've never ever peeled a mushroom, do you think I should try it? :think:We should all strive to learn something new everyday.0 -
