Hi hels, it's a paper punch. It's a "stampin up scallop punch", then a circle punch layered on top. Now for the hard bit, they don't sell in stores, as far as I can work out they are sold by demonstrators??? There's none on ebay.co.uk only on the ebay.com website. We(UK) do have them but they're not the same as you'll see in my pics. Sorry I'm no more help.

I know nothing about these sellers.

Thanks for that Soblivion, how cool does that gadget look! Think I'll have a look on the internet for a template for me to cut out instead!

PS Rainmac lovely to put a face to the name on facebook! I think the group that's been set up is such a good idea!

hels, just noticed you live in South Wales, OH also works in Wales once or twice a week, so do you mind me asking which your local store is, incase he goes there before Gloucester (he doesn't know where he is going each day until he logs on for that day???)

    Thank you!
Is Gloucester your local one as its mine :)

I wish! unfortunately it's the one nearest to us, which is not actually very near at all!! We live in West Oxfordshire and that is the nearest ones that came up on the store finder. Luckily OH is on the area at work to cover Gloucestershire, so he's there most days, either there or Wales, so I am determined he will get me some of these while he's out and about at work!!! lol!!! He's good for something :D :rotfl:

I think Home Bargains need to open a store in this neck of the woods, I'd be in every day after seeing people mention all over MSE how fab it is!!! :p

    I've pm'd you Lucy.
If he doesn't manage to get you one, if I do go up in the next week or so I don't mind picking one up for you.
    Hels x

That's really sweet of you, didn't see that post before I read and replied to the PM.

I'll let you know if he doesn't manage to find them, and arrange paying you etc. I'm touched that you'd offer, everyone on here is so nice!

He's off work for a couple of days hol as we have to take DD to hospital tomorrow (nothing serious) and I thought it would be nice to have him home, but I actually can't wait for him to go back so he can go to the shop!! :rotfl: I think I might be getting slightly addicted :o

Just a funny about the crimper things -

I saw this post on it's first day & as I thought it was something I could do (I'm not very crafty) I dashed off to my local craft shop to get a crimper -they had none in stock but the lady said she'd order one for me saying "they used to be popular but have gone out of fashion'

Little did she know the power of MSE crafters!!!

debsy they look so lovely, the handmade pink chocs look so scrummy. They are addictive aren't they. All of mine are empty as I don't have chocs here so I must not do anymore till I get some.

Marg, glad you can get a crimper, look forward to seeing a pic when they're done
  • I called into ELC - Early Learning Centre in town at lunchtime and they have a kids craft set which contains a paper crimper amongst a lot of other things.. its £12.50... I know its a little expensive but if you are struggling to find one then this may be useful......
