Afternoon all,
anyone had the Nokia 6280 yet??? I've had it today and I'm really not sure what to make of it, it seems really big and bulky, I was hoping it would be like my daughters Nokia 6111 and my 10 year old son has just burst out laughing and told me I got a brick (well he's got samsung e350 tiny phone) could do with some feedback on this phone so I can decide what to do about it.
Thanks

i havent got it yet as its only available in the uk on an upgrade to the 3 network.
Ive plaed with it in a shop and i would hardly call it a brick! There are a lot of phones that are much much bigger and dont have as many features 3g, 2mp camera etc etc.
How did u get one?0 -
and what price you pay for it, i recently bought n70 second option was the 6280If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help0

well I think it's large compared to Nokia 6111,
shohaiband what price you pay for it, i recently bought n70 second option was the 6280
had it as an upgrade from 3 they finished my old contract 2 months early gave me the phone 3 months half price and £94.50 rebate at month 7, another thing it doesn't have the place that you can attach a strap to, which I always use at work to clip phone to my bag, I know that probably seems daft but it's something I always use.
I am thinking maybe could get the N70 instead? see if they will swop it which is the better phone?a please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
If u think the 6280 is big wait till u see the n70!0

The N70 is huge and really heavy. I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole and i'm a nokia person!0

think (although dont quote me) the advantage of the n70 is that it is a smart phone and allows you to intall different applications on it.0

If the N70 is big as well I'm gutted, I like small with a wrist strap, looks like I will have to stay with the 6280, I like nokias so don't fancy switching to another make, like I said before the 6111 nokia is a lovely size with the all important wrist strap (lol) but unfortunately it won't take my 3g sim card!a please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
n70 is not big. Think about what you can do whith the actual phone you control ya tv and pc, mp3, 2.0 megapixel camera, i can play all the old gameboy and gameboy colour games on it and so much more i would be here all day. Also when you buy the N70 you get a free nokia wrist strap which is very nice (learthery with solid piece engraved nokia). You will know what i mean if you have seen one. N70 are wicked if you are thinking of buying one start a thread and see how much people will tell you about. Not just the basic topics about the phone but from minor to very technical features that would amaze you.If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help0

shohaib thanks for that info I can't understand why the 6280 doesn't have the wrist strap but the N70 does,it's so annoying and I didn't know you can play gameboy games on it that sounds pretty cool aswell.a please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0
