hi there, just wanted to say i'm also thinking about getting some ex batt hens and i have been reading on the downthelane website all day, its a fantastci website full of great info.0

thank you the coops above was the ones i was looking at the run would be doubled my my own hand as i have a rough corner of the garden witch is 9 foot by 9 foot so i think the coop would be ok so they will have a fair old run when it is closed will they get depressed with that if i only let them out when i can (it probably will be everyday)
now you have scared me i dont want them to be upset if they cant get the whole garden i have had a email saying i am able to give 4 chickens a home on the 24th of january just have to confirm before i confirm i just want to know if i am doing the right thing on their behalf!!you cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0 -

They will be fine..really all i was trying to say is that they wouldnt be happy if they were shut up in the size of run that the hen houses in the posts above have got. if youve got a rough area that will be ideal as they love to scratch, dustbathe and generally muck about loldarcyvuqua wrote: »thank you the coops above was the ones i was looking at the run would be doubled my my own hand as i have a rough corner of the garden witch is 9 foot by 9 foot so i think the coop would be ok so they will have a fair old run when it is closed will they get depressed with that if i only let them out when i can (it probably will be everyday)

Go and confirm on the website and once youve had ex batts you will never keep anything else as they are just so wonderful and their personalities are fab.
We are still looking and accepting applications for hens for anybody out there who wants some of these deserving ladies.#440 sealed pot challenge0 -
