    You don't need a license for a radio full stop.

    As stevemLS says you don't need one at all. Your TV Licence at home does not "cover" your car radio.

    Although to be fair some of the money from the licence fee does go to that which you may listen to on your radio, should you choose to tune into the BBC

    Slightly off topic but I bought my first TV licence on October 22nd 08. I received it a while later and it ends on the last day of September? :confused: Surely thats a mistake?

    Afraid not - same as if you had bought car tax at the same time. They don't do "bits of months"
