I did comping initially when the kids were little and I was home all day, No computer, so trudged round supermarkets buying things and sending off till receipts. My very first win was a beach ball and hubby laughed his socks off went on to win loads as I was quite good at slogans.
I stopped comping when I got back into work, till I discovered you could do it online and not trudge around the supermarkets anymore! Started in January last year and my first win was a sweater and bag from silversurfer, haven't looked back since!!!!£2021 in 2021... £253.86/£20210 -
Mine was last year - before I knew about MSE - I entered a competiton i'd come across while on a website and thought i'd enter - even though it closed that day, so I thought I'd have no chance!! But a couple of days later I got an email to say I'd won a book signed by Casey Stoner (the MotoGP champion of 2007)- I was so excited! I since have become addicted to comping!!!:hello:0

My first every win was in October last year. I won vouchers for Hobbs, £500! Needless to say, I had never even been in Hobbs before as it is way out of my price range. So this was a great win for me.
I'm getting quite emotional thinking about it!0 -
I have been comping for years - first ever win was a watch many years ago!0

I'll never forget my first win - joined MSE 18 months ago and got a winning letter from Puzzler about 6 weeks later saying I had won an MP4 player - I couldn't stop smiling for days! And it just escalated from there - I enter at least 30 comps a day (sometimes a lot more due to being made redundant) and my best prize were the flights to Hong Kong last year! Good luck to everyone and their future comping!:j:T Total Prize Value 2012 - £1835 :T:j
:AThanx to all the good people that post comps (and answers!):A

My first win was in November 08 and it was a mobile phone, followed a week later by a 42" TV, I had only been comping for a 3 or 4 weeks so I was extremely lucky.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I remember my first win well - I started Comping in June and at the begining of July I had a call to tell me I'd won a Gibson Flying V (worth about £700) signed by Mcfly - it was courised to my work 2 days later and it's great! Shame at the moment it's still in it's carry case in the spare room really! I want it to be out on display somewhere but i know it'll just get damaged in my house![FONT="]
