Do you remember your first win?

sorry if i have put this in the wrong place but didnt know where else to put it really.
I was just reading thru the wins and was wondering if you remember your first win, what is was etc?
I have yet to win anything yet so cant post lol
i just thought it might be interesting to see and also how long it took you to get your first win???

Started Nov 08 - first win was an Emma Bridgewater cereal bowl and a packet of Jordans muesli !

I've only been comping since October last year and remember my first win really well. I received a LWE (although it was actually A5 sized...) to say that I had won £100 worth of books for my children's primary school.
I can still remember that I couldn't stop grinning - and of course I was hooked after that and have been fortunate enough to have had quite a few wins already.

I joined MSE at the very beginning of Feb 2008 and my first win was on ( a winning email) 7th February. The win was copy of Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360 which my boys were over the moon with. I think i truly had beginners luck as i then had a second wem on the 8th Feb for Cold Killers clothing which was motorcycle windproof under clothes. (made a great Xmas pressie for my BIL) I know the exact dates as i am so sad and have kept all my winning wem's and letters!!
I hope you have the same luck and win some nice prizes soon.
PS Comping has become an absolute addiction for me!!

I also only started in November, but my very 1st win was the brantub.net 100th prize winner prize! I won my very own brantub filled with lots of random things I've been very lucky in that i've won a fair bit in a couple of months already! My best win to date has got to be my xbox 360 that i won off coke zone! Not that i've had much time to go on it- OH has claimed it :rotfl::rotfl:.I'm also a comping addict now!! I think it's a great hobby.

I would also like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that posts the comps and answers!

I started last October (2008) but after a brief week or so of comping to try and catch up with those that expired at the end of Oct, I got rather preoccupied with Xmas shopping and stopped. :rolleyes: I need to get back into it properly now we're back to our normal routine. My first/only win to date has been some mascara (worth £7.99 I think it said). Would really like to win a holiday abroad this year, as we need it and probably won't get a holiday otherwise.

my first win was in dec o8 so i havent forgot yet.It was hsm on ice tickets. Ive only won twice so far in 3 months of comping

I won a couple of Lush goodies from my local store, from comps posted on this site, but really I count those more as having been good timing (store still had them in stock and the Lush forumites hadnt got their hands on 'em yet!)

First real win from an online comp was a £50 Faith shoes voucher last Christmas. Had been comping for around a month I think.
