    brrrrrr........

Just went down to ex's house with the stuff I'm lending him. Had a text to say he was just getting his bag so he should behere around 9. I'll have dinner and then go back down with Charlie. His house was bitterly cold. I've flicked the switch so the light are now back on and neighbour has been in and put the gas on, but not the boiler obviously in case it cracks with no water coming through. He has also been into the loft and says he can't see any broken pipes, but it is still frozen up there  He thinks (not quite sure I can remember this!) that some water froze and the ball !!!! was stuck 'on' and the water went over into a second tank which made the hot water overflow and then through the ceiling. If that is the case, then although !!!!!, it's better than having to have a pipe fixed, probably just a new ball valve. He has left the water off, no point in it being on until the problem is properly sorted and I've left him 10 litres of still water so he can heat it in the kettle for a wash etc.

BB I feel so bad for your poor ex, how miserable for him. He's lucky to have you around :) Is there a cheapy hotel nearby or anything? It is so cold tonight :(

Sympathies Spud, I bloody hate going, really hate it  I am not phobic but it always makes me feel really cold  I know that sounds odd... I come out a bit shaky and tired.

I have veneers on my front teeth following a childhood accident involving me, a bike, and some concrete. Well yesterday while eating my lunch one of them came off  possibly due to trauma following several months of my DS headbutting me  and an x-ray shows I need root-canal treatment before replacing the veneers. We are talking about £1500 in total _pale_ so no question of me quitting my job just yet at least!

In brighter news I bought NEW BRAS yesterday and it is like having new boobs - burning my old nursing bras, hurrah!

    Nevertheless she persisted.
