Help porting req

Hiya guys... Im have just ordered new phone from o2 on contract, i am at present on o2 pay as you go, i want to keep the same number and i know this is not normally poss but the number was ported from T mobile contract to start wth. Will they let me?

ring them and ask if they can migrate(not porting) your number from the PAYG SIM to your new contract. Sure someone posted on a different topic the other day they had managed to migrate on O2 from PAYG to contract

Yip, i managed to get 02 to take a number from an 02 pagy sim to contract, i called on the monday and the number transfered on wednesday but texts not sending till thursday morning which i was told was normal when porting.
