No, but you clearly can't read properly.0

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional responseor to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
^^ isn't that exactly what you just did though?0 -
Nope. Because what I am posting is on topic; albeit with a particular theme coming up more often than others. There is certainly no attempt to disrupt anything, unless you consider being thought provoking to be such.0

If you are remotely intelligent... or even not terribly stupid, you are almost certainly* better off doing any kind of investment by yourself. It is more effort, of course, to learn the principles of sensible investment but if you do so (and it would be an excellent idea) then your IFA will be of no use to you
Sorry.......but I cannot see how that comment, on it's own can seen deemed, either insulting to IFA's (or dunstonh in particular) or trolling.
The OP wants to make an initial investment of £1K and £50pm thereafter.
This is not a large and complicated Investment portfolio, and something that anyone with a little interest in the subject (and the fact that the OP is on this forum asking Q's proves that he is) cannot investigate and do for themselves.
I.F.A.'s serve a very useful and important purpose, but no one really needs the services of these highly qualified individuals for a transaction like this.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
What qualifies as HNW nowadays anyhow, seven figures ?
Yes........but it's falling by the day !!!!'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

I just don't get why he quoted dunstonh without saying "Yeh I agree with you" or anything lol0 -
It was actually just that one comment in isolation, that I was referring to.
I understand the poster might have an aganda against the Financial Advice profession, and I would in no way want to endorse anything of that nature.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
