MT mate's got an Aston, think it cost him about £140k a couple of years ago, but he hardly ever drives it, says that it's very unpredictable in anything but perfect driving conditions, so normally he drives his Audi S4 (think it's S4, its the top range A4).0

You have to remember a lot of spoons drive cars like AM's, mostly people who don't know how to correctly drive the car, so yes there are often reports of "unpredictable" behaviour from this type of driver. The Head Honcho (does very little work)0

Cristano Ronaldo - £200k ferrari - No traffic - total write-off - fair point

Dave Richards doesn't seem to think there's too much of a problem now.

Slightly off subject but I was reading earlier about Honda are moving thousands of un sold cars to an airfield over the next few months I think it was 7000. How long will it take to shift them
not move them I mean sell them..... Years I reckon. I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0 -
Think its honda or nissan offering people a year off work if they will take half pay, sounded like a sweet deal to me so long as you dont mind time on your hands at the risk you couldnt find an odd job to do
Biggest cost on these cars as mentioned is depreciation unless its a classic car. Theres no CGT on old cars, well worth the speculation if you are paying 40%0 -
Aston Martin in financial difficulties isn't news. Back in 1930s the founder of the company ran into trouble, and in 1945 AM were bought by tractor manufacturer David Brown. TVR had similar problems, both companies have had several owners over the years and............... well the list of lost British specialist car makers is endless. At least we've still got Bristol and Morgan. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Makes me wonder on whether Ford were tipped off about the impending doom. They dropped Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin just in the nick of time! By all accounts they're still in the !!!!!! though! :rotfl:0 -
