The Link - 12 Months free contract on 3 ???

Yesterday I went into a The Link store and was told by a sales assistant that there was a 12 month free contract deal on 3 going on since boxing day. I have seen the voucher form for it so it does appear to be genuine.
However I have not been able to find anything about it on here, i'm just wondering has anyone else heard about it?

They have had a wide range of clearance phones on offer since Boxing Day on many networks - 12 months free on 12 months contracts (offer ends 31/1). Unfortunately they seem to be running out of phones (from experience trying to get one this week ;( ).
