Wait for her to open a dispute if that's what you would rather do..that way you will certainly not have to refund the postage, if you even have to refund at all.
You've done no wrong, let her prove otherwise...put her money where her mouth is!We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

i've had 4 emails from her this afternoon. she is trying to get me to refund inc return postage by threatening negative feedback.
IIRC you could report her for feedback extortion.
She sounds like a total nightmare! If I could get away with it, I wouldn't even return her the original postage, never mind the return.:j30/7/10:j

i will be refunding part/all of the original paypal payment when we agree on an amount.

yes i originally said i'd refund her return postage but this was based on the item being not as described as per her message, but this is not the case.
now on top of all this she is now implying the item is fake. i would love her to do a paypal dispute claiming this because it's not fake and therefore she won't be able to prove it is. someone else tried it on a different item i was selling a few months back and lost the paypal dispute as they couldn't prove the item was fake, and i could prove it was genuine.
She is going to neg you regardless so I'd just tell her that you've made your decision, refunded her the original amount the case is now closed and delete any further emails and forward the ones she has sent you to ebay or if you are a powerseller give the helpline a bell and ask their advice regarding feedback extortion.
When she does neg you just leave appropraite follow up.Terms & Conditions Apply0

well i've not heard from the buyer since friday afternoon
i have had her money in my paypal account all weekend as i was hoping we would be able to negotiate a refund over the weekend
i spoke to ebay powerseller support and they have made notes on the account regarding the threat of negative and i have been told to forward the email to them if she does leave me negative feedback
i was told i am not obliged to refund return postage even if item wasn't as described.
since she has not updated her contact number still and no replies to emails since friday i have just given her a full refund of item price and original postage as a gesture of goodwill.
i told her since we are disagreeing over the condition that the only fair thing to do is split the postage with me refunding the original postage and her paying the return postage
i'm now expecting further angry emails and negative feedback0

TBH I'd hit her with a contact details report. It's a pretty poor show to refuse to be contactable by phone and then be such a pita, regardless of it breaking the rules. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0

i reported the false contact details on friday, the email from ebay said something like she had 24/48 hours to update her details, which she hasn't done.
i will report them again for not being updated, don't know if they will do anything though.0
