usb ports-not working

how did you remove internal battery and power up the pc , if there was no battery in it?

sorry, but i am not very teccy, is it a diy job or will i have to take it to a pc shop?

If you are not confident I would take the machine to a local PC shop.

The User Manual gives detailed instructions on how to remove the case. I then got my hubbie to do it all work with me giving instructions. I did do lots of research using Google beforehand.

From memory,(someone please do advise if I'm wrong) we took out the battery, reconnected the power supply and the keyboard.

We then turned the machine on waited until it got to the Windows welcome page and then switched it off using the on/off button. I think we did this about five times, then the next time we just heard one beep and the light on the keyboard came on.

Just a thought is the machine still under warranty? As you will invalidate that if you take the case off.

machine is just out of warranty, took out 5 years warranty on purchase and its just expired. never used it.
although it was new , never came with a user manual. just cds

Gives instructions how to remove housing cover.

i have downloaded file, saved to disk , but cannot open it.
when i click on open - nothing happens

Perhaps you need to update your Adobe software.

Why not just print out the pages you need.

Click on the Printer icon and input the page numbers that you want.
