I think most people realise this, however its useful information for those who don't.
The box will revert to basic freesat from sky functionality when you cease to subscribe.
Sky would justify this by the fact that they heavily subsidise the boxes in the first place, I think the current offer is for a Sky+HD box for £49 plus £10/month for the HD mix.
Humax are excellent machines, had a freeview PVR myself but you have to pay £299 ish for it up front.
