Yes I think someone else posted a link to a dodgy site which prompted all the posts and then the post was then removed.

I've used beautybay lots and lots of times before to buy my hair products. I have no problem in reccomending them.
  • In the area I live, there has been hundreds of fake pink GHDs and White GHDs. They look very good, and most people don't think they are fakes as they are being told that they are stolen from warehouse.
  • my sister got some for a really good price but when they arrived they were american (ie 2 prong plug) and supposedly even when you put this into a adapter they still dont heat up properly:confused: ( i can't say if thats true as havent tried them) she managed to get a refund ok but think she was just very lucky.
  • hey, I got my ghd iv salon straightners from www.hqhair.com - for £103 I think in toal with delivery - and they are authorised stockists, and genuine as I have registered them as well, great price I think!!

Thats great, i was worried for a minute that I had done it completely wrong! I could have got the black ones for £80 if you use the jan09 code aswell. I know a lot of people (I used to be one of them!) are like omg over £100 for straightners but they are the best and I wanted different colour from my friend so my new ones dont get mixed up with her old ones! Plus pink is cool, even if it is more expensive and they are the best ones I have ever used for my hair and I have tried lots of cheaper alternatives. I have saved for about a year of spare change to get them so wanted to make it stretch as far as possible!

I can honestly say we all prefer the Babyliss ones. My eldest paid £120 for her GHDs and I thought they were great but then I used these Babyliss ones and they are much better in my opinion.

hth someone save a few quid!

I have used babyliss before and tend to find the barrel heats up and burns my face- is it me or have others noticed this too?
