Hi all,
A bit less organised that I would have hoped for (nothing new there)...
So, the plan for tomorrow is to publish chart 06 with the updates and a fresh chart 07 around 3pm - give or take.
I've said 3pm, as I'm busy in the morning, and 3pm gives be something to aim for - may be a little sooner / later, but probably there abouts.
Also have the possibility of staying up till after midnight and posting once I'm done, but I suspect that will give a greater opportunity to introduce errors.
Thrilled we are at the half way point already - gives us a chance to look backwards over the past 18 months to see how far we have come and to look forwards to the remaining 18 months to see if we can meet or exceed our targets or even become mortgage free (if that wasn't your original goal) in the second half of the challenge.
Regards,

Do what you think FB. No-one wants you to stay up late doing it. As always, i appreciate that you do it at all, and i don't want it to eat too much into your weekend.
Sounds like you might be owed a few updates anyhow.
As it is, i am glad i reported in as the £500 cheque we are waiting for that will be an overpayment has not turned up. It will go a way towards my next OP anyway.0 -
Hi there
I am more of a lurker than a poster, just updated via google docs, we are a bit behind as it has been a very expensive three months with a holiday, new fridge and DD drama exams. Hope to catch up by next update? Thats the plan anyway.
I totally agree with other posters, general shopping is so much more expensive and petrol for my car this week was £60, the most I have ever spent. A bit of a worry.
Starting to wonder if my teenagers will ever be able to afford to leave home, so when we are MF, may take on a mortgage again on a flat for them.... not told DH yet as he may freak out, as he fancies going on a cruise!!!MFiT-T2 no 66. Hello! I've just updated the online form so I thought I'd post here too. I'm now at £39350.05 which puts me £205.05 behind my target so I will be Yellow this time. I'm in the process of being made redundant so unless I manage to get another job soon I will fall even further behind on the challenge.
Oh well - I'm just glad that I'm over 2yrs ahead on paying my mortgage (if my spreadsheets are in any way accurate
) as a result of this challenge!
Thanks FB and Maz! :T
Well done everyone! :TMortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Hi all,
If you refresh the Who's updated chart, you'll see I'm working through the updates. Been a busy week and I was hoping I could just publish today, but I've got the updates to apply just yet:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tks17oKUg5u0jJOsscg4G1Q&single=true&gid=3&output=html
That's the last two I've been a bit slow with. Can't envisage chart 06 NOT being published today - knew I should not have put a time in earlier.
Great to see so many people doing so well as I'm putting the figures through...
I'll post another update (with the chart) once I'm done...

I'll have to make this brief, as I've just had a text asking if I can be the transport. Raining here!
So, chart 06 with the updates to date published as per below:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?hl=en_GB&hl=en_GB&key=0AnhcWfGMRVgddGtzMTdvS1VnNXUwakpPc3NjZzRHMVE&single=true&gid=38&output=html
There's a few odd looking ones / ones where people have asked for their challenge amounts to be altered, so I'll look at those in a bit more detail, plus publish chart 07 later this evening.
As per usual, if you spot any issues, drop a PM or send comments / update via the chart.
There's a few updates been sent in this afternoon, so as mentioned earlier, I'll do some mopping up later once I get some time to myself!
For now, enjoy chart 06...

Thanks FB! We're still in the green which of course we knew but its so great to see it all in the spreadsheet, we all appreciate the work you put in.
We are going to change our target and clear the mortgage but I'm tempted to officially leave the challenge as it is otherwise we'll go into the red and be into the red until the last two updates of next year and as we have worked hard to stay ahead I want to stay green I think it would be more motivational, plus I'm not gonna lie, seems we're one of the few for whom time hasn't flown as this challenge is a tough challenge for us with alot to look forward to at the end and not alot to look forward to at the moment and so motivation is really important as its is hard to keep going sometimes (despite great rewards at the end).
Interesting seeing the numbers who have updated, looks like were similar to the start except in reverse, I'm sure most people who has been able to stick with the challenge have made great progress in the right direction, I think this challenge is really motivational and thanks again to everyone taking part/ running this challenge for helping us stay on the straight and narrow.Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 170
