  • Ohh dear, now I feel bad for making a joke of it! Hope you managed to sort it out and didn't lose out finacially. I had £300 taken 3 years ago and it took 13 months to recover it :(

I am still here trying to clear as much of my CC debt as I can before the challenge starts but am expecting to take a big drop in pay which is really going to bu**er up things:mad: so am going to have to be very creative or else the first year of the challenge is going to consist of CCdebt I was already going to be late starting on the mortgage repayment probably 6 months in to the challenge but this has put even more pressure on but I will work something out.;)

    Hello, yes i'm still here.
I've made the phone call required to First Direct and i'm having to write a letter after having a very annoying conversation with someone, which ended in me losing my temper:mad:
I wouldn't have minded as much but i'd been on the phone activating accounts etc for 20mins with a very pleasant lady then got transferred to a prat who if i was able to i would have strangled!
so now i'm calm and refreshed i'm going to calmly write my letter and try and get things moving again.
    Welcome to the new bods

I'd like to join too. My current mortgage is interest only - £241,000 outstanding. Investments to pay it approx £16k. I intend to up my investments towards paying it so I would like two targets for Dec 2012. Firstly, actual mortgage to be below £200k and for investment to be 22k bringing mortgage to £188k in my head if not in reality. Who knows there might be an amazing rally between now and then and I might cash in my shares ISA and put it towards the mortgage because by then interest rates may also have rocketed.
  • I am up for this challenge too. Need some time to get some realistic figures but look forward to be added to the first post soon.

    That'd be £178k in reality.

There you go I just saved you £10k without even trying. Easy this MFiT lark isn't it?
