Could we organise a seed swap perhaps??
Thanks for the Alan Roman link i think i will give them a go
i'm happy to have this sort of things started via my groups if you'd like
the main group is
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FrugalGeniusUK/
the buy/sell/trade forum is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FGbuyselltrade/
personally i think the seed swap idea might be done better on the main site because there are a lot of members that would probably join that may not be on the sister groups but you could post both places. :Tfounder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -

Lidl's and Aldi's are cheap, as low as 19pence for an 'economy' pack, and 49pence for such as French Beans (60 plants). Not much of a range, tho Lidl has early, mid and main carrots. Why would you want to buy online or thru the post ??0

I took myself up the local market for the first time in ages last week and found a big box of seeds for the extortionate price of four packs for a POUND! :rotfl:
I rummaged through and found an early and a late cabbage, swede and beetroot so i am very happy
I don't mind so much paying 25p for a packet that i may not finish up, it's when they cost over £2 and i just now i won't use 500 seeds i get a little irked!
Oh, also in the box were plenty of different flower seeds, lots of saladdy type veg seeds and other root veg too, so if anyone is in the area it's worth a visit to the market at New Addington on a Friday for some seeds, if nothing else0
