Its noisy on fire up.. like a jet engine waiting to take off.. but appears to quieten once its started playing.

Follow up to my earlier post- the offer for the DVD has now finished. Found out today it was a 5 day deal.....which is a !!!!!! as i wanted to get one, a bit of staff discount as well would have made it very nice!

I have just bought 2 of those this evening from Stockport Tesco Extra thinking that i may be able to link these two up just as Joto mentioned. But it seems Derek_Duval is right, there is no way to do that. So I cannot play DVD in one and watch in both. It is also quite noisy. Can however play DVR-R recorded at 8X speed and VCD. Cannot input games console as well, so I am planning to return them back.

Deal still on. Got one of these tonight in Tesco's Extra, Bidston, Wirral. They said they had loads. Had to ask for one at Electrical counter. £49.97

Shelves were full in the Swindon store this morning so bought one for my lad. When my daughter found out she wanted one as an early birthday present so went back.

Looked like they had sold over two thirds of the stock and four of us in the que were buying one.

Does anyone know where I can get another bargin portable DVD Player?
I bought the Tescos 7" Technika Portable DVD Player for £64.97 last week and it has broken today, going to take it back tomorrow but I think I got the last one at the time. :rolleyes:

My little boy will be so dissapointed if I can't get another one. (it was a present that we got him and he was going to use it for the 1st time in the car today and it only worked for few mins and the picture won't work now) :mad:
