greetings,
i am hoping someone can answer a question i have below as i am thinking of taking a new line install(£1new line istall) for the 8mb llu offer at £9.95 for 1gig. i am on bt ipstream 2mb at the moment.
if i do join bulldog and say 6 months later i decide to leave bulldog is it possible yet to migrate rather do a cease a re provide back to bt? i have discovered somethong bt have been trialing called A49 and was wondering if someone can tell me if this will be possible to migrate back to in the summer of 2006? thus avoiding the dreaded bt activation charge of £50?
sorry if this question has been asked before and cheers for any help anyone can give me!

Unless something has changed since I last looked into it you need to do the following:
Call BT and tell them you want them to take the line back from Bulldog (sorry can't remember who you call, what the number is or what the procedure is called)
That will take x number of days to happen and you lose broadband when they do it.
You then may need to wait a few more days for the line to show as cleared (during which time you are without internet access) before signing up for broadband. You must check with whoever you sign up with that it has gone through ok otheriwse if the line shows up as already having broadband or belonging to bulldog they ususally just bin your aplication and never tell you.
Depending on who you choose to sign up to it may take from 5 to 14 days or more from sign up date to get broadband.
My plan to cover this 1 to 3 week downtime was to sign up to my local cable internet company as they have a 30 day money back offer if you don't like their broadband which would either mean I stay with after transferring the line back to BT or cancel after I get ADSL running again.
