Hello
Has anyone else experienced this? Orange phones text people saying they will add a package UNLESS you text back STOP. If you don't, they then add the package at an extra £15 a month. Has anyone had this?
My boyfriend, who got his deal through a shop called JAG, has just been told that this has happened to him and he is wanting to claim this back but has been told it is a legal loophole!! To me it seems unlawful.
thanks in advance
Kate

I doubt this, sometimes text messgaes but stopping putting on apackage that costs £15 sounds dodgy - I know phone companies are ruthless but dont think they would do that

the only one that orange put on automatically is the £5pm evening and weekend data (free for 2m then they text you asking you if you want to opt out if you dont they charge) which is still a bump but not anything thing which is £15pm, is it 3months worth of the £5 bundle,

im still amazed the amount of people who complain about this but have had it on their bills for years and never realised!!
    Yes Your Dukeiness :D

The more I read this it seems to be a third party item rather than Orange. The Orange bundles don't work by sending a STOP text, you have to call CS and ask for the bundle to be removed from your acc.
It's the other sellers, ringtone king, or Jamster that operate services that you can send a STOP text to end. . .
