Just got back from Greenwich to find the screening for The Young Victoria was cancelled, Manager didnt seem to give a damn and was quite patronising, so I am not in the best of moods since, I left work early at half four and got there at 5.40 to be left standing around for 20 mins and then an hours journey home from the cinema. I know its not there fault if its cancelled but the same thing happened to a friend in Wimbledon and the manager realised how far they had travelled and offered them tickets of there choice rather than a wasted journey.
I was at Greenwich last night too, they said that Momentum had given us the wrong screening date and the tickets would be valid next Thurs 5/3 (we had them signed by the usher who promised he would be there next week, hmm, we'll see).
Was slightly annoyed as travelled from north london to get there, so not really convenient to be going back again next week.Couch to 5K Running 2009/2010/2011

we battled the worst traffic ever to get to greenwich last night on the bus, to be told the screening was cancelled and no alternative date was happening. The usher (who I think was feeling a bit flustered by this time) said to contact Momentum with any issues, and seemed ready for a fight even though I wasn't actually complaining. I'm still not, except that it was all a bit confused so the manager perhaps needed to support his staff a bit better (he was quite rude to the usher over the walkie-talkie).
Don't understand why Momentum couldn't have sent us an email warning us it was cancelled, though. It turns into an expensive freebie when you pay for the bus ride and waste an evening in traffic!0 -
Went to see Young Victoria last night, what a lovely film, I'm not a costume drama person either, a great story, well acted, wonderful costumes, fab. scenery, I even learnt something about our history! my friend and I will be going to see it again for sure :j0

"He's not that in to you" has been out at the cinema for everyone to see for at least a couple of weeks now, so I doubt very much you will get a free preview!!
*Edit*
I do apologise K2001w, if my post seemed blunt and sarcastic. It was certainly not meant that way. It was meant more in a cheeky way, so sorry if it caused offence.
