I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!

We were late for hotel for dogs last week because we got stuck in an accident and the cinema was really good and moved a few folks -as a normally not later person i was very grateful cos the children would have been soo upset.
So sometimes with the best of intentions it doesnt go to plan
I totally agree in your situation that you should be let in as thats a different situation.
My friend and I got to cinema late due to being stuck in traffic for slumdog millionaire, and we were not allowed in as they said was the policy for the cinema. I fully understood this and didnt make a fuss. But last week during Hotel for Dogs they were letting people in twenty mins after the film had started and lots came in in dribs and drabs and I am sorry but thats so selfish. I also think if a cinema has a procedure to follow they should stick to it not change the rules!!Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0 -
:j I finally received free tickets from seefilmfirst.
On Tuesday, I saw Shopoholic at the Odeon in Lakeside, Essex. It's not the kind of film I would ordinarily have seen but it was OK. I would rate it 5/10 But with a free ticket, it was a great value evening out.I wanna be Mortgage Free by February 20130 -
Vue are running a promotion that if you see an Oscar nominated film before 23 Feb and then it does end up winning an Oscar, you can get to see another film free.
I know this has been mentioned before on this thread I think, but the e-mail with the promotion details and the Vue website both say that in order to get your free ticket, you need to produce the ticket stub from the film you saw and a 'voucher'.
Does anyone know what form this mysterious voucher takes as I just have the ticket stub and credit card receipt from paying for tickets. I e-mailed Vue to ask but all I've got back is silence!0 -

I went yesterday and they gave me two voucher with the tickets for the film.
It is printed on the normal ticket paper and just says "free voucher check website for details"
It says in the T and C that they will not do this with the 2-4-1 Orange Wednesday deal, but they gave us two vouchers.:mad:Life isn't all work, work work.
:eek:There is the traveling two and from work:eek:0 -
Apparently Screenbookings will be giving tickets for The Damned United. As I can't enter their site since the did their "brilliant" update I cannot say for sure but can anyone else that might be able to go into see for sure, please. It's on the Culture+ online magazine. Thanks.

I went to Fulham Vue to see Shopaholic last night. There were very few seats left and maybe only a couple of late comers. I haven't seen a screening so full.
I really enjoyed the film but it is a real "chickflick" and obviously not everyone's taste. I laughed out loud and enjoyed myself so I'm rating it a 8/10
