  • I see there's yet more chat in the codes, I do remember someone suggesting the cinema ticket discussion thread should be made a sticky, it's got to be more relevant than the official chat thread which already is - anyone who wants to post in official (random) chat will find it, but the cinema code chat isn't so obvious to new people often quite a scroll down and to save the bickering surely it's got to be worth a consideration.
  • Glad I am not the only one tugba8419 - I have entered 2 email addresses to try and get info and neither work for me either.

You probably won't realise but the subject of making the discussions thread a sticky has been brought up many, many, many, many times (by me as well).. and will continue to do so me thinks. The answer being given by the board guides is that there are too many stickies already.

Its just one of those things we have to get used to I'm afraid... :D

Yeah as mcroodi has said there are too many stickies as there is. The guidelines are 5 per board & we already have 7. Also I think that if we had the cinema stickies together people will still get confused & make mistakes.

It's hardly the end of the world if someone posts chat in the no discussion thread. People learn by their mistakes. A polite pm will suffice or a pm to a Bg to remove or move the post.

I think people need to be more welcoming & tolerant of new members. Remember we were all new once. New members might be put off posting again if they're met with such negative comments.

Above all please remember the forum etiquette:

Forum Etiquette collapse_tcat.gif arrow.gif Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

    Thanks guys :)

Firstly the screening was full, or at least it appeared to be. A few people (3 or 4 couples) came in after it had started (in the first 5 to 7 minutes) and found odd seats (some asked others to shuffle down in a row to make 2 odd seats into a pair together) very annoying I must say......

I agree, I find this VERY irritating. If people come late they can't expect to find seats available in two's. When I find a seat I stay put, if others wish to move down they can.

I went to Fulham Vue to see Shopaholic last night. There were very few seats left and maybe only a couple of late comers. I haven't seen a screening so full.

I really enjoyed the film but it is a real "chickflick" and obviously not everyone's taste. I laughed out loud and enjoyed myself so I'm rating it a 8/10

I find this a bugbear as well in the odeon in Cardiff if you are late they don't let you in but last night 2 people came in about 20 minutes into the film in the sky screening in Vue theres nothing more annoying than people shuffling past you when you are all settled and annoying everybody.

We were late for hotel for dogs last week because we got stuck in an accident and the cinema was really good and moved a few folks -as a normally not later person i was very grateful cos the children would have been soo upset.

So sometimes with the best of intentions it doesnt go to plan
