interesting to hear the mixed reviews of Revolutionary Road - as none of the free screenings were in Scotland, I will have to pay!

I was looking forward to going to see it but now am not so sure about going straight away; think I will wait until it's 2 for 1 at Vue!

Is it just me or are the Bafta screenings only the more obscure category films?! I've seen all but 3!

We saw Revolutionary Road yesterday and were very unimpressed.
Two hours long and it felt like it
Unless all you want to see is close ups of Winslet and DiCaprio, with DiCaprio pretending to be a different actor in each scene, he seemed to fancy himself as Jack Nicholson in quite a few.
    3/10 max
Still it's a long time since we've been to a movie that neither of us liked and it had to happen sometime.

I am so with you ChrisCar I though the same he was definitely impersonating Jack Nicholson, but then again isn't that good acting being so good at doing someone else... I didn't like nor bought KW and I don't think it an oscar for sure but it is also true that she's sooo beautiful she cannot help it. She will have to resort to make up like Kidman did for Virginia Wolf in The Hours just to knocked off our own centres, so you forget she's so beautiful and opens up for pure acting.
That is what I didn't see in The Curious case of BB. Only make up no acting!
Thanks to those who help us to win !

Just to say (again). I'm not giving the op a hard time, not even a little. :)

I just logged into my sky perks account and tickets for Confessions of a shopaholic are currently available for most cinemas. Preview scrreening link showing on right of screen, click on blue "more about screening" link. Details on how sky customers access the site are in skypaulus Pauls post no 424 above this.
