  • hi sorry to be a bit dense, using codes from this thread i have got myself tickets to benjamin button this sunday :D - the offer that was in the sunday times - but do i need to have the page of the sunday times, or not (i don't have it)? I got one email that said i did, and needed to put my 'unique code' on the page, and another that said that i just needed to take that email with my unique code. did i accidentally apply for two offers or is the times thing a bit confusing???

I thought I just give you some info about the film DOUBT.
Please note that the live code has changed to the 25th January
I think you may have to get hold of the culture+ mag on sunday
    It is with the newspaper.

Nominated for three BAFTA Awards, Doubt is an explosive and compelling story about the quest for truth, the force of change and the consequences of blind justice. In cinemas from February 6, 2009, you can see it first and free on February 3, 2009, thanks to Culture+.

To claim two free tickets to the preview screening simply click on 'More Information', below right, from Sunday, January 25, 2009 and choose a participating Vue cinema from the list shown. You will then need to enter the booking code '8202' when prompted. You will be given a confirmation number which you will need to write in the space provided on a page found in this weekend's Culture magazine. Then present the completed page at the cinema at 6pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2009."

Hi - which newspaper has the 'Culture' Magazine ?

Is it 'The Times' and is it on Sat or Sun ?

Do u think we really need to buy the newspaper to get entry to the cinema - anyone know if they check or is screenbookings a printed ticket as usual like seefilmfirst for eg ??

    ta very muchly ;-)

Just my opinion, but was this post really necessary? Isn't a repeat post that include a code that has been posted a couple of days before better than a post that just says "that was a repeat post"?

I'm pretty sure I know which one would have annoyed more people that subscribe to that thread.

Kimnat, as you said, they are new and probably didn't know better. You are not, and should

I was just about to post in here and say the same thing! I don't think there was any need to post that and at the end of the day it was still a code. I find the thread really really useful but i think self righteous posters need to be a bit more considerate to people who at the end of the day are just intending to help.

    ok thats me done.

Give me a break it was not mean't to be horrible just helpful. You make me out to be rude and thoughtless and if I was that way inclinde I would not have put " I know you are new".

this point has been going for ever- i think as suggested by many previous posters that it is better to send a polite PM than post a pointer post on the codes thread as the ear bashing you get for it just isn't worth the agg!!! to be honest I hadn't seen that code so it was useful too me- but am getting a littled stressed with the point making posts.

Also, just noticed that a couple of people have thanked kimnat for his post. I know it's not a gratitude competition but I find it ironic that if I had posted my message in the "codes only" thread (therefore adding even more chat to it) I would have probably have had numerous thanks from other people annoyed at kimnat's post! Or maybe not.

Just read Kimnat's post that they were just being helpful. Maybe, but adding to the codes only post with a thread without a code and no useful info wasn't really being helpful, even if you did point out that they were new. On the other hand, you did get thanks for it, so maybe it is helpful after all...

1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I've just posted this in the code thread. The whole thing imo is just getting silly now.
Guys please send a polite pm to those that may be unaware that no chat is allowed in this thread.

By posting in here no chat etc, it's counterproductive to the message intended.

    Thanks :)
