    Hi,

This question may have been posted before but I haven't seen it mentioned, so sorry if it's repeated. It's something I've been wondering for a while.

When multiple SeeFilmFirst codes are released for the same screenings (eg. all of the Frost/Nixon codes recently), is it really worth checking all of the different codes? If you try one code and it says "Screening full", is it possible (or likely) that a different code will still work? In other words, do the different codes have different tickets allocated for the same screening, or do they all just link to the same ticket pool?

    Thanks,
    gillez

Each code has a different ticket allocation so definitely worth checking all the codes for a screening. If there are no tickets available when you check it's also worth checking again using all the codes that have been posted and at various points right up until the afternoon of the screening as people cancel tickets which will be re-released.

Can't see that anyone replied to this, so I do hope you found out somehow. I've just found the opposite: I didn't bother applying for any "Benjamin Button" tickets as no cinema near me was listed, yet when I checked out of curiosity today, I found my nearest cinema was on the list! Most bizarre, and no wonder it was still showing as having 24 tickets left, only 4 days before the screening. How would anyone local know it was worth trying? At this rate the screenings will be undersubscribed and might cease. And I didn't get the "Times", etiher, so hope it's true that the web page and ticket will suffice.

    Thanks, Ms Thrifty.

I emailed them but didn't hear back - and then it turned out there was a screening on Tues at a different cinema, so I'm going to that instead. Even then there was still the 6.30/8.30 confusion!

I saw Frost/Nixon with the Times and I printed the email & webpage and it was fine. Enjoy.

I thought I just give you some info about the film DOUBT.
Please note that the live code has changed to the 25th January
I think you may have to get hold of the culture+ mag on sunday
    It is with the newspaper.

Nominated for three BAFTA Awards, Doubt is an explosive and compelling story about the quest for truth, the force of change and the consequences of blind justice. In cinemas from February 6, 2009, you can see it first and free on February 3, 2009, thanks to Culture+.

To claim two free tickets to the preview screening simply click on 'More Information', below right, from Sunday, January 25, 2009 and choose a participating Vue cinema from the list shown. You will then need to enter the booking code '8202' when prompted. You will be given a confirmation number which you will need to write in the space provided on a page found in this weekend's Culture magazine. Then present the completed page at the cinema at 6pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2009."

I got a text from seefilmfirst/tellten after frost/nixon, saying in return for feedback, I would get VIP access for 6 future screenings -how does this work? Is it saying 6 movies guaranteed?

    Hi there,

I had this too and an email and no idea how it works? Have you had any replies computersaysdoh?
  • Glad you got there in the end and thank you for the reassurance re paperwork. As there may still be spare seats at my screening on Sunday, they'd be ill-advised to turn anyone away!

Are all the screenings through these websites at weird times like 10:30am on Sundays, or are some of them weekday or weekend evenings? I've never used them before so I'm interested in what I should expect or look out for
They are mostly weekdays at 6.30 in my experience.

I know you are new but this post was done 2 days ago
Just my opinion, but was this post really necessary? Isn't a repeat post that include a code that has been posted a couple of days before better than a post that just says "that was a repeat post"?

I'm pretty sure I know which one would have annoyed more people that subscribe to that thread.

Kimnat, as you said, they are new and probably didn't know better. You are not, and should.

    Hi there,

I know this is probably a no but if anyone has tickets to the Liverpool screening of Benjamin Button and cannot make it I'll be grateful to have the tickets! Or if anyone knows of any new codes please let me know!

    Thanks a lot
