I may be made homeless very soon and as such cannot afford even the £1 bus fare to the next town , let alone the high cost of going to Watford. So glad that my comment amused you.
Nobodys unsympathetic to your situation as i have been in it myself a while back but maybe you will think twice about directing nasty comments in the future to a small community that are after all only trying to help each other0 -

I also remember endless chat about this Julie & Julia saga....as I remember it got quite nasty....??
I am glad to say that I finally got tickets and after seeing the trailer, the film looks great and really my type of film.
I am sure everybody who got tickets will enjoy....:j

However, I am American, and I think there was some of humor (as opposed to humour) that a British audience may not 'get'. My OH is a Brit, and he kept asking me 'what's that' or 'who's that'. So some of the irony/jokes were lost on an audience that's not American. But I must agree 100% that the language was too crude. I've come to expect that kind of language from anything Seth Rogan or his 'crew' are in, but it doesn't mean that it's necessary. Would I pay full price for this film? No. But it had it moments, and I laughed outloud. I would go on a 2 for 1 Orange Wed, or some other discounted offer.
Hey, I'm American too and my DH who is Brit but has lived in the US as well understood most of the references. I thought it was too long and not that funny but it had it's moments. Being from San Francisco, it was nice to see SFO and the short drive to Marin County...lol. I must say that I'm rather homesick and at the end as the credits were rolling up I was naming the products in the grocery aisles, how sad is that0 -
I wanted the tickets for my 21 year old grandaughter and her boyfriend but the printed tickets have my name on does this mean I have to go.If you don't get what you want today maybe the Postie will bring it tomorrow. :j:j:j0
