They seem to show them on a Saturday morning at most participating cinemas, dunno why Liverpool differs. A little annoying as they clash with any Sunday preview.
I don't blame you being annoyed one little bit. Did you have a word with management?
No didn't have a word probably should have, we usually can't go on a saturday as my child goes to drama classes on a saturday when it's not the hols, this was the only saturday we have had spare in yonks. Think i will stick to the see film first and tell ten previews as they are a lot more convenient.0 -

You could always nip in whilst your child is at drama class lol0 -

Oh really? So I need to do a spot of kidnapping if I want to see one of these films! Now where did I leave my spare gag and handcuffs0 -
Looks like the Woolies films showing in Cardiff on Saturday morning this week are -
Monsters vs Aliens (2D)
Coraline
Night in the Muesum 20 -
Just to say that Night at the Museum2 is playing at Nantgarw, near Cardiff tomorrow at 10am, courtesy of Bookworm....incentive for kids to read books throughout the summer....but you've got to take a child.

My advice, don't bother wasting 2 1/2 hours of your life.
It was dire, utter rubbish. For the first time I almost walked out of a preview.
But if you still feel you want to go, have you tried the drop down box to see if it is still included?
i agree completely, i saw it tonight!i actually wish i had walked out now, it never got better!!!!0 -

I saw Funny People last night with my OH. I agree that it was at least 30 min too long, but I didn't think it was that bad. However, I am American, and I think there was some of humor (as opposed to humour) that a British audience may not 'get'. My OH is a Brit, and he kept asking me 'what's that' or 'who's that'. So some of the irony/jokes were lost on an audience that's not American. But I must agree 100% that the language was too crude. I've come to expect that kind of language from anything Seth Rogan or his 'crew' are in, but it doesn't mean that it's necessary. Would I pay full price for this film? No. But it had it moments, and I laughed outloud. I would go on a 2 for 1 Orange Wed, or some other discounted offer.0

I went to see Funny People last night in Cardiff was a little overextended and if you were going to see a Seth Rogen film you thoroughly expect the language, think it was aimed at the younger market as all the laughter came from the large crowds of people at the back, i really enjoyed it but i have got a weird sense of humour, maybe the brit audience just didn't get it. Other people in my group kept asking me who Sarah Silverman etc were and i think that i sat there explaining a large part of the film to them. Maybe i'm just a victim of watching too much late night american stand up and sitcoms.0
