  • Just back from the 3D preview footage of Avatar.

Can't wait to see it in December.

It's like Aliens meets Jurassic Park meets Dungeons & Dragons in a game-like film.

Pretty good stuff. Certainly different, and one to earmark for watching, IMO.

  • id like to receive notifications about a new post as well but for some reason it's stopped - i just seem to get them randomly, even if i visit the site after each one.

    - also really enjoyed the avatar preview - the 3d was amazing, and im looking forward to the film.
  • Why don't more cinemas take part? (Rhetorical, I know why, I just wish they would) There's a cineworld close by but I haven't seen these offers listed for it anywhere - only major cities then?
Anyone with evidence to the contrary?

I'm just back from 500 days of Summer at the Silverlink. Loved the film which was funny and yet kinda sad.

I did think it a little strange though when it started a full 1/2 hour before it was scheduled to. There were only about ten of us in the auditorium when it kicked off.

Felt sorry for those who drifted in, looking bewildered and checking their watches, having missed up to the first half hour though. I wonder if many complained and how the management resolved it.

I was worried that, realising their mistake, the management may stop the film and make us sit through the first 30 mins again. Fortunately it didn't happen.
