Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Has anyone else been to see a preview at the 02. There is a charge of £5.00 to park unless you can supply your cinema tickets. Obviously with a preview you don't get a ticket. Kinda defeats the "free aspect" if you have to pay that amount just to park your car for a couple of hours.Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0

At the Odeon at Hull, you pay for parking, but the ticket is in two halves, then you take it to the box office and they keep half of it, and give you the parking fee back.0 -
I've just cancelled 4 tickets to Imagine That screening tomorrow, Liverpool.
Don't know if they will be re-available on SFF yet, but worth a look if anyone wants em.
Can't make it tomorrow, but from reading reviews, I don't think I would have gone anyway!0 -
I've got tickets for A Perfect Getaway tomorrow in Manchester, but want to give them to my son to go instead. Does anyone know if Momentum Screenings films are more likely to check tickets/ID than the seefilmfirst ones?

I have, when you get to the cinema, before you go into the screen, ask a member of staff, they'll give you a car park token to get out without paying.
Just show them your printed ticket to prove you're there to actually watch a film and you should be fine.0 -

Not in my experience but each cinema varies as far as I can tell. Have you ever been asked for ID at that cinema before other than for Star Trek and/or Bruno?0 -

No, never been asked, so I'll let him take a chance. Girlfriend's got a cob on though so maybe it'll be me and OH anyway!
