  • Thanks for your PM, midian.

Since putting the question on this thread, I've discovered this:

    http://www.parkatmyhouse.com/uk/parking-space/london/adjacent-to-cabot-square/

It sounds a bit complicated. Has anybody used this place or website for that sake? Thanks.

what's a great idea! i have never come across this before. thanks so much. i will be using that site for other trips as well.

    cheers!
  • My pleasure. It has some good reviews. It's probably best for using 'parkatmyhouse' for parking during business hours on weekdays, as it may be free in many places at other times.

aaargh. I was excited to see a new post on the codes thread only to find it's another one for the proposal. If you've not seen it yet get tickets and go its a good film but I'd really love to see codes for a different film, I don't even care if they're not for my cinema, I'd just love to see something different.

  • Hi there,

I've just emailed icantgo@seefilmfirst.com, so there should be two tickets to Coco Before Chanel on Monday at 6.30pm, Castleford X-Scape.

I got the code from the No Discussion thread, the code was 250795 from Grazia magazine.

I'm not quite sure how/why these times say 11.00am because when you go through and print the ticket it says 10.30am..... maybe they changed the time??

Just spotted in case anyone has printed a ticket of previously to that or that maybe haven't noticed, as I assume Jemma1 copied and pasted it when the code was put in.. Don't want anyone to be dissapointed!

You should subscribe to email alerts, either the codes thread here or the Free Films board at FMUK. Also at FMUK you can request tickets in the Wanted board.

Btw I'm feeling your pain - SFF doesn't like Southampton atm it seems! :)

  • What a nightmare. Manchester Odeon royally messed up the screenings of Imagine That and The Proposal this morning. I went to see The Proposal. After waiting in line outside the cinema until 10.15, we were finally ushered in. First we were sent to screen 10. At 10.45 a member of staff came in to tell us that the concessions stands were open. Trailers (rated U – kids film?) came on at 10.55.

Then we were told to go to screen 20. On the way to 20 I asked a member of staff where The Proposal was and was assured that 20 was the right screen. Screen 20 then started playing Imagine That.

Then we were sent to screen 14. Finally, the right screen, but the film was halfway through.

I imagine hundreds of people (including lots of kids for Imagine That) have been left very disappointed. Those of us that refused to watch the film from halfway through were offered a token gesture of a free cinema ticket.

Really, how hard is it for the staff to find out which screen has which film?

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
  • Went to see Imagine That at the Cardiff Showcase this morning didn't know what to expect of the film as Eddie Murphy can be a bit hit and miss lately but really enjoyed it thought it was a cute story. The cinema seats were so comfy much better than lots of the screenings that i had been to of late would definitely recommend that showcase to anyone.
