just been to Coraline- for the first time the large screening room was almost full and we were told not to leave empty seats between parties. It was great, although I'm glad we didn't take the 8 year olds as there would have been nightmares for a least a week!when the first cup of coffee tastes like washing up she knows she's losing it0

We went to the Sheffield screening of Coraline and we were absolutely made up to see it was the 3d version.
The seats were full up unusually.
We all loved the film, my sisters (9 and 14) sat still the whole way through, as did my other half which is a small miracle.
Fab filmThe Very Happy Owner of a Special Agent Oso Bear and TS3 Pea's in a Pod Beanie
Looking forward to having one very happy little girly on Xmas Day

Loved it.
Had to hand in our mobiles - which I've never experienced before. And the cinema manager gave a little announcement prior to the start of the film. We even gave him a round of applause. It was rather strange having security guards in with us - but they just watched the film and ignored us!
The cinema wasn't full, despite all the seats being pre-booked, according to the manager. I'd estimate there was a good 60 plus seats available.
The only negative was that Hannah Montana was over-running and we had to wait in a queue for a while - but hey, it's free. Oh and some chap was offering free tickets to see the new Borat type movie.
The film was scrumptious. I would seriously recommend it.
Regards.
PS We went to the Rotunda in Kingston Upon Thames:hello:0 -
W e went too see Coraline in Cardiff last night quite busy really enjoyable brilliant animation although i could see how it could be quite scary for the younger kids one little boy in our screening had to leave as he was really frightened but for the older kids there would be no problems0

Well Star Trek was fantastic! The screening was pretty much full and as people said you had to hand over your mobile phone before going in. This meant it started slightly late but it wasn't an issue.
Oh and they didn't check ID but did ask for the magazine page. In Cardiff we were the only ones to give over the whole magazine, which one of the workers seemed very grateful for lol.
Definately worth seeing even if you aren't a trekkie as the action will blow you away!Never give up the dream! :beer:0 -
Saw Star Trek last night in Glasgow and thought it was great. Good to see all the old characters back. Hope they go for a sequel(s). Cinema nearly full but not quite. Took phones off us too but did not ask for ID or magazine/page. Shame as I'd had to buy 3 copies.Having money won't make me happy but it will help me to be miserable in comfort0
