  • I was thinking that one wardrobe would have the glass door like in the picture (£83 one) and the other would not (£153).? Thats just my opinion :confused:

    Didn't intend to buy a new wardrobe just yet - but ... a bargain is a bargain. I have received confirmation, so I presume that it will be despatched. I shall have to make savings elsewhere!

    Ordered today, got an email through but it says its not an order confirmation email, orders will only be confirmed on invoice of goods, but its taken the money from my card. Don't know where I stand legally though ......

    When I ordered the bargain £11 bed at the beginning of the month from Debenhams I didn't get a confirmation email either, so I emailed them to query my order. I was told that if you have been given an order number you will receive the goods.

    I ordered some watches in the Debenhams sale a couple of weeks ago - two as gifts and one for myself. I received the email copied below - worded differently to the earlier email posted on here and certainly more 'definite-sounding'. :j

    HOWEVER when I phoned Debenhams (after about 10 days) to enquire when to expect the watches I was told that they had run out and that there was no order on their system for me!!! Understandably I was upset and phoned Customer Services who sympathised but could do nothing... :mad:

    This morning guess what turned up? ONE of the watches...it had been posted 2nd Class Recorded Delivery the day BEFORE I telephoned... :confused:

    So what I am trying to say is...Debenhams really have little idea what they are doing with their mail orders...they seem to have no system or effective communication between departments. You may believe that you are getting something but may not...then again, you may think that your order won't turn up and it will...

    Good luck to all who ordered - because this is as much of a lottery as the National Lotto! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
